Winter Tire questions. Newbie here. First time Tesla Owner.

Hi Tesla Group,

I am a new 2 months old tesla owner M3 AWD LR. I live in Vancouver and I am looking to buy a Winter Tires. I am reading some post about tesla Winter Tires but a lot are saying not to buy winter tires from Tesla. I have a couple of question

  1. Do you recommend buying Winter tires from other stores or you would prefer buying it directly from Tesla?
  2. If you will buy from other stores, what stores would you recommend me to buy from? Like costco? Or Canadian Tire?
  3. If yes on 2, do they know how to change Tesla tires? I read they need to have lift pucks, do they?
  4. There are tire pressure sensor on our cars, right? Do I need to buy a new one?
  5. I will use my current set of rims, right? Then they will just change the tires?
  6. What kind of winter tires would you recommend that I buy?

I have an anticipating road trip to Banff this december from Vancouver. I have been reading online and watching videos but a lot I cannot understand. Thank you for your patience. I appreciate it.

I apologize if it sound like stupid questions. But I really don’t know. I’m sorry.
